Something of a shift from the normal rock of the Bike’N’Hound, Yakavetta are a full on Metalcore band with something a little different. Fronted by two regular Bike’N’Hounders, Nick & Matt, they describe themselves as follows…

Formed in Manchester and brought together by a mutual love of Metal, Boondock Saints and Cards Against Humanity, we are a bunch of like-minded musicians ready to table something different in the quest for your next favourite band.

We write and play the music we love to hear with elements thrown in from all of our personal influences. This creates a truly unique sound and outlook that separates us from any other “metalcore” band.

Our music is a blend of “metalcore” riffs and breakdowns, Soaring vocal melodies and the speed and aggression of a punk band.

We have been fortunate to share the stage with such great bands as I Declare War, The Plot In You, Seven Year Itch (SWE), Dead Harts, Napoleon and Martyr Defiled and have recently been described as “Your Mum’s favourite band, If she likes breaking peoples noses” and “One of the tightest live bands I have ever seen”.

Our live show is very slick, energetic and engaging. Not to be missed.
